President’s Message

Welcome to our global community!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our institution. At California University, we are proud of our 45-year legacy in language and international education, and even more excited about the future we’re building together.

As a college founded on global learning, we understand that 21st-century education must do more than inform; it must transform. Our mission is to empower students from all backgrounds to thrive in a rapidly changing world—academically, professionally, and personally. Through interdisciplinary programs that integrate applied psychology, communication, media, and emerging technologies, we prepare learners to lead purposeful change in their communities and careers.

We launched our graduate programs as a first step in a broader academic vision: to build a university that nurtures self-awareness, cultural intelligence, and career readiness. Our degrees are designed not only to equip students with knowledge but to help them master the tools and insights needed to navigate complexity and build meaningful lives.

What truly sets us apart is the passion and commitment of our entire community—students, faculty, and staff—who work together with purpose and shared values. At California University, success is not measured only by individual achievement, but by how we serve, uplift, and connect with others.

Whether you are a prospective student, parent, educator, or partner, I invite you to explore how California University can support your journey. We are honored to be part of your growth.

Warm regards,

Barbara Hecker, Ph.D. & J.D.

President

HISTORY

Building on more than 45 years of experience in language education and student support, the institution has now entered an exciting new phase—offering degree-level programs designed to prepare students for meaningful careers in a global, digital world. These initial programs lay the foundation for broader academic development, as we plan to expand our offerings to include undergraduate and additional graduate-level degrees. Our vision is to provide a dynamic, interdisciplinary education that blends language mastery with modern sciences, technologies, and tools—empowering learners to improve self-awareness, lead purposeful change, and thrive in diverse, fast-changing environments.

We take great pride in the success of our students, which we attribute to the quality of our instruction, the dedication of our faculty and administrators, and the rich resources we offer each learner.
